We always love playing This Venue the accoustics of the Grimsby Town Hall are wonderful especially when we are spoilt with a breathtaking performance from on of the worlds finest Cornetist, Mr Steve Rudhall

Steve Played for us three solo pieces La Belle Americaine,  Sugar Blues and A Brown Bird Singing.  All were performed to perfection by the New Zealand Cornet Champion Himself,  and gratefully   received by the audience.   The band after seeing the ease and grace Steve plays his Cornet with felt like melting their instruments down to make paper clips. It was also Nigel Hobdey's Birthday, he was not letting on how old he is but a rumour of 65 spread around the band like wild fire.   To top it all for Nigel his sister Rhona was in the audience after making the long trip from Australia.   Happy Birthday Nigel
